Latitude vs. Temperature

Our data suggests that temperature decreases as you moves further away from the equator and towards the poles in both hemispheres. Interestingly, maximum temperature was not exactly around the equator. Locations around 20 degrees away from the equator on either hemisphere appear to have maximum temperature. This is likely due to the inclination of the earth b23 degrees. As a result equator is not directly straight to the sun.
